MICHAEL W. GARNER, Principal
Experience: Mr. Garner is one of the founding partners of Echo with over 20 years of experience in the public finance market. Under Mr. Garner’s leadership, Echo has grown to become a leading financial advisory firm in the not-for-profit healthcare space. In addition to his management role at Echo, Mr. Garner continues to provide a full range of financial advisory coverage to clients nationwide. Many of his clients represent long-standing relationships established through a commitment to providing independent, unbiased advice, delivering the highest level of customer focused service in the market. Prior to starting Echo, Mr. Garner began his career in public finance covering not-for-profit healthcare and senior living borrowers and has extensive experience as a derivative specialist representing the interests of end-user clients in the structuring and execution of various hedging strategies. During his career, Mr. Garner has completed a wide range of financings on both a public offering and private placement basis which together with derivative transactions total more than $30 billion. Mr. Garner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from The Pennsylvania State University.
